One-Time Registration Fee to participate in both Fall 2017/Spring 2018 Sessions: $50
Limited space.
Volunteers accepted.
Volunteers may be inclusive of editing, typing, general workshop support.
About the Program:
“Tales of Our Times” is a Writing Workshop designed to encourage elder African-Americans to turn their memories into creative and original stories describing the ordinary experiences and events that shaped have their lives and contributed to our collective history. Their stories reveal the roots of American culture, as we know it today. Over the past decade, the participants have produced three published anthologies.
