In celebration of the critically acclaimed exhibition Art as Activism, the New-York Historical Society presents #PoeticJustice: A Performance, a FREE evening of poetry and spoken word by artists dedicated to activism. Featuring works from three generations of New York artists, the program is a platform for poets to continue the American legacy of resisting social injustices through art. Presented in partnership with the Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, it is curated by AKILA WORKSONGS.
