Jacqueline Woodson: A Part of the John Oliver Killens Reading Series (Gallery)

The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, presented a discussion and reading with best-selling author Jacqueline Woodson, whose latest book is Another Brooklyn. Woodson was joined in conversation with Glory Edim, founder of Well-Read Black Girl. Another Brooklyn is Woodson’s first adult novel in 20 years and is on the Longlist for the 2016 National Book Awards. Woodson is the 2014 National Book Award Winner for her New York Times best-selling memoir Brown Girl Dreaming.
