The 2016 Elders Writing Workshop, Tales of Our Times, in association with the Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUN,Y will present its program “Black Women Writing Memory, Writing Fate,” on Sunday, June 26, 2016.

The program will take place at Siloam Presbyterian Church, 260 Jefferson Ave., in Brooklyn, New York. During the afternoon program, the members of the writing workshop will read excerpts from the third volume of this anthology to invited guests and the audience, sharing their personal stories in which the ladies recalled personal encounters in their earlier years. The program will be facilitated by Eisa Ulen Richardson, workshop leader of the Elders Writing Workshop.
